ED RN Job in Oro Valley, AZ

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 3 nights per week on a rotating schedule, with 12.5-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process, in compliance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Apply critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate patient needs and plan safe care delivery
• Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Demonstrate leadership in fast-paced emergency settings

Requirements:

• Active Arizona nursing license
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Willingness to float to Marana ED and sister facilities including Northwest Medical Center, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, rotating weekends
• Weekly Pay: $2,233.80
