Cath Lab Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC. This is a 91-day travel position beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts)
• On-call requirement: 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
• Work in a 2-room Cath Lab environment
• Primary patient population: congenital heart patients and those requiring heart catheterization procedures

Your Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult transplant procedures
• Assist with right and left heart biopsies
• Support balloon, stent, and valve placement procedures
• Participate in Interventional Radiology (IR) cases as needed
• Provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; first-time travelers are welcome
• Current certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• Certification: CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
• Skills in cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal), and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)

Compensation & Details

• Weekly pay: $2,736
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Charting system: EPIC
• Parking: One-time $20 pass required for nights and weekends only
