Cath Lab Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026. You will work 4 ten-hour shifts per week with start times between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM and end times between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and scrub all catheterization lab cases
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support routine cases on Sundays as one of your four scheduled shifts
• Participate in 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend every 5 weeks
• Complete 1 late stay shift per week as needed

Facility Details

The cath lab operates 4 rooms with a daily census of 42 patients and approximately 25 visits per day. You will manage diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR), cardiac implant closure devices, and advanced procedures including Impella insertion, IABP placement, and rotablator atherectomy.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, and SCRQS certifications
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and sterile field maintenance
• Experience with IVUS, OCT, Impella, IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, and Penumbra equipment

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,728 for this 91-day assignment.
