Med Surg RN Job in Rome, NY

Rome Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical step-down unit in Rome, NY. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in an acute care environment serving adult and geriatric patients.

Position Details:

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Med Surg step-down unit setting
• 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• 89-day assignment beginning August 24, 2026

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• 1–2 years of step-down or telemetry experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification

Systems & Tools:

• Paragon EMR
• Pyxis medication management system

Compensation:
