Med-Surg RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a Med-Surg RN to join the float pool on a days schedule. This is a travel position offering you the opportunity to build experience across multiple patient-care settings in a large academic medical center.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 hour days per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,380

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital
• Epic EMR experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Competency testing: If you have 1 year of experience, you must complete a passing competency assessment within 24 hours of submission. If you bring 2 years of experience, competency testing is waived.

About the Role:

You will provide direct patient care on med-surg units and may float to other units as needed. Your experience in a large academic setting will prepare you to transition between different patient populations and care environments. You will work with Epic EMR and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
