PCU RN Job in Tomball, TX

Join HCA Houston Tomball as a Registered Nurse on the Progressive Care Unit. This is a 13-week travel assignment running from October 19, 2026, with a start time suited to night shift professionals.

Role Overview

You will work on a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 1:4 patient ratio. Your shift is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three days per week. The unit operates with 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs on each shift. You may be asked to float to Med/Surg as staffing needs require. The unit is located on the 2nd floor.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring in a progressive care setting
• Administer and manage non-titratable drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
• Manage patients with tracheostomies
• Work 4 weekend shifts per schedule cycle
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

What We're Looking For

You demonstrate resiliency, accountability, and integrity in patient care. Experience with non-titratable drips and tracheostomy management is preferred. You are comfortable working nights and adapting to the dynamic pace of progressive care nursing.

Compensation & Details

Weekly pay is $1,651. The assignment is 13 weeks in duration. Dress code on the unit is royal blue scrubs.
