PCU Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional is hiring a Registered Nurse for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Wichita Falls, Texas. This is a travel position running 91 days, starting October 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit with Med/Surg focus
• Schedule: 3x12 nights, 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Weekly pay: $2,107
• Facility: United Regional

Your Role

You will primarily support Med/Surg units with floating required between Med/Surg departments. Your patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Weekend shifts will be covered as needed by the department.

Requirements

• RN degree
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible

You have solid Med/Surg skills and experience working in progressive care settings. You are comfortable floating between units, adapting quickly to different patient acuity levels, and managing a mixed adult and geriatric population.
