PCU RN Job in Longview, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a travel position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a full-time basis for an 84-week assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Your Role:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care to a mixed patient population with varying diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory conditions, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities
• Practice independently in the clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care
• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for all assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed

Requirements:

• Current active RN license in the state of Texas or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

Compensation:

You will receive weekly pay of $2,008 for this 84-week travel assignment.
