ED Registered Nurse Job in Olney, MD

MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Olney, Maryland. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Weekly pay: $1,951

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• General ED experience with both adult and pediatric patients
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Maryland compact license or MD license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Emergency medication administration
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• IV initiation and maintenance
• Emergency triage

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge nurse experience
• TNCC or ENPC certification
