ED Registered Nurse Job in Baltimore, MD

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 10, 2026, with 4x12-hour night shifts at $2,720 weekly pay.

Shift and Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts with 4-day work week
• Call required every other weekend and holiday rotation as necessary
• Patient ratio of 1:4

Facility Overview

MedStar Harbor Hospital's ED handles approximately 150 visits per day across 27 rooms and beds. You will treat patients of all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, social services, transportation, and unit secretary resources.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated IV starts and phlebotomy skills
• Navy blue scrubs required (not provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI, MAB, and TNCC certifications
• Cerner charting experience
• Charge nurse experience and triage background
• Preceptor experience

You will receive unit training before being expected to work charge. This role offers you the opportunity to expand your emergency nursing skills in a high-volume setting with strong support systems in place.
