ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shift schedule (exact shift times not specified)
• Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Work in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department serving patients of all ages including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Scrubs not provided - royal blue color required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), CPI (preferred)
• Must be proficient in general emergency department skills including triage, IV placement, phlebotomy, interpretation of dysrhythmias, 12-lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, procedural sedation monitoring, and management of ventilated patients
• Must be comfortable managing patients with a wide range of conditions including neurological emergencies, trauma, psychiatric holds, respiratory illness, and pediatric emergencies
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more
