PCU RN Job in Fort Worth, TX

Join Medical City Fort Worth as a Registered Nurse on our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This 13-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic cardiovascular step-down environment while gaining valuable experience in post-acute cardiac care.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: September 21, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on PCU units 4W and 4E
• Support procedures including cardiac catheterizations and post-operative coronary artery bypass grafts (CABGs)
• May float to sister step-down and med/surg units as needed

Qualifications Required:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital nursing experience
• Cardiovascular nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Meditech experience preferred

Facility Requirements:

• Royal blue scrubs with facility embroidery required
• Clean, healthy nails only; no artificial nails, gel, or next-generation nail products
• Hair must be neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Body art must be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $1,665
