Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required (greater than 1 year); Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Must be proficient and able to function independently with the Da Vinci Xi robot; familiarity with the DV5 Da Vinci robot is a bonus
• Must be proficient in robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Must be able to function independently in all of the following specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
• This is a general OR position and excludes open heart surgery and neurosurgery
• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with a 30-minute response required
• Weekend shifts: 3-4 within a 6-week matrix; weekends can be days, evenings, or nights
• Holiday shifts required as needed and may be day, evening, or night shift; travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays; Black Friday and the week of Christmas cannot be approved for time off
• Floating required as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
• Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Daily census of 50-60 patients across 18 operating rooms
