Operating Room RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

Bay Area Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an RN for their Operating Room. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (4x10 days)
• Weekly Pay: $2,161
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Facility: 11 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite

What You'll Do

You will work in an active surgical environment supporting a variety of procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics. Your responsibilities include assisting with or performing surgical procedures, operating specialized equipment (including multiple types of orthopedic beds and 4 robotic surgical systems), and documenting patient care using the MEDITECH EMR system. You will provide 1:1 patient care with no floating requirements.

Staffing & Schedule

Day shift operates with 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 11 techs. You will work Monday through Friday with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities. Scrubs are provided by the facility.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• CNOR certification
