ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 3+ years of emergency department experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Experience with Stroke/TNK administration required
• Department is multi-function: Geriatric, Pediatric, and Psychiatric ED — must be comfortable working in all areas
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Maryland compact license or MD license required
• Skills include: blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, emergency medications, general emergency department combined adult and pediatric, isolation precautions and PPE, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
• Previous charge experience preferred
