Occupational Therapy Assistant Job in Potosi, MO

You will provide occupational therapy support in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Georgian Gardens in Potosi, Missouri. This is a 91-day temporary assignment beginning September 21, 2026, with a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours per week at $1,670.40 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as needed
• Report treatment outcome effectiveness to your supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding cognitive and/or physical disorders
• Communicate with your supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy
• Accurately record treatment minutes for all services provided in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist

Requirements:

• Missouri state license required
• COTA certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

This position offers no on-call responsibilities and no weekend shifts required.
