About this role

Tide Health Group - Big Spring is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Humansville, MO. You'll work days on a 5x8 schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements, earning $2,531 weekly.

In this role, you will:

  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions per regulatory and clinical practice requirements
  • Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services as needed, making referrals based on results
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
  • Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
  • Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to policy
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements
  • Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences and utilization review meetings
  • Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students

You must hold an active Missouri OT license and have a minimum of one year of OT experience. Long-term care or rehabilitation experience is required. You will adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.
