ED RN Job in Albany, GA

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 119-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,203.20.

Schedule & Compensation:

• 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks

Role Details:

• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Approximately 180–200 patient visits per day, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Common diagnoses include trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological cases
• You are responsible for your own lab draws and IV starts
• Charge nurse opportunities available

Support & Resources:

• 2-shift floor-specific orientation (must be completed during week one)
• Nurse aides and paramedics on staff (5–6 per shift)
• Security and patient sitters available
• 24/7 respiratory therapy dedicated to the ER
• Central monitoring tech available
• 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psych

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of emergency nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment
• Meditech 6.15 experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS or ASLS, and CPI
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
