Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics such as age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others through bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching
• Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care while promoting inclusive interdisciplinary communication
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance
• Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Uphold all healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies including TJC Patient Safety Goals
• Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources
• Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Required certifications upon hire: BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Required certifications within 180 days: ACLS, PALS
• Required certifications within 18 months: TNCC or ATCN
• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact) required
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive and composed manner
• Basic computer skills required; Epic and 3M experience preferred
