ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• 5+ years of nursing experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
• Must have MEDITECH experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Patient ratios of 1:4
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs only
• Nurses perform their own lab draws and start their own IVs
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation required
• Must complete ORT during week one
• 75-mile radius rule applies - driver's license address must be provided
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases
• Work with 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift
• 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatry
• Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
