ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call requirement: 2 24-hour call shifts within an 8-week period
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Must maintain current Georgia nursing license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 180 days), PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months)
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapting to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Complete mandatory education and competency assessments
• Function effectively in fast-paced emergency environment with ability to respond to emergencies decisively
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for other healthcare professionals and students
• Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement activities
