ED RN Job in Augusta, GA

AU Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 1, 2026. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with an on-call requirement of two 24-hour shifts within an 8-week period.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for ED patients
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Respond decisively to emergencies in a fast-paced environment
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for healthcare professionals and students
• Contribute to evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement activities
• Complete mandatory education and competency assessments

Requirements:

• Current Georgia nursing license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (within 180 days)
• PALS certification (within 180 days)
• TNCC certification (within 18 months)
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Excellent time management and critical thinking abilities
• Basic computer skills and ability to use technology for clinical care

Compensation: $1,864.80 per week.
