ED Registered Nurse Job in Medford, WI

Aspirus Medford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work in an 8-bed ED with the potential to flow into clinical exam rooms, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Hours

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Every other weekend required (often every third weekend)
• Every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements, though encouraged

Clinical Details

• Patient ratios depend on acuity and may reach 1:5
• Willingness to float to Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Langlade, and Stanley locations required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of emergency room experience
• WI or compact RN License
• AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Associate Degree or Certificate; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Duration

• Weekly pay: $2,433
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026

Work Environment

• Any clean, work-appropriate scrubs permitted
• PPE guidelines must be followed
