ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Provide care to ICU patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Must be willing to float to Telemetry/LTAC units depending on census
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (both must be through the American Heart Association)
• Texas RN license or multi-state compact license required
