CT Technologist Job in York, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment at Central - UPMC Memorial in York, PA. This is a 4x10 rotating shift position with a duration of 89 days, starting November 9, 2026. You will earn $3,382 per week.

Role Responsibilities:

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment to adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation appropriately for diagnostic CT purposes
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper technique in venipuncture and proper use of power injector according to department and manufacturer protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to administration of contrast media
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol when performing procedures
• Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition
• Document patient history in electronic record as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, and charges are accurately entered

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program required
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire
• Required certifications: ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
