Occupational Therapy Assistant Job in Moore, OK

Tide Health Group - Thunder Care and Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a temporary position in long-term care and rehabilitation. This is a day shift role offering stability and predictable hours without on-call or weekend responsibilities.

Position Details:

• Location: Moore, Oklahoma
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $1,670.40

Responsibilities:

You will provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Your duties include:

• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Assess patient progress and communicate with your supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments
• Report treatment effectiveness and outcomes
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic system and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Assist in obtaining necessary DME and supplies under supervision
• Support students under the Occupational Therapist's guidance
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA practice standards and state regulations

Requirements:

• Active COTA license
• Oklahoma state licensure
• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
