Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 13 or 26 week contract options available
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult patients ages 18-87 with a diverse mix of diagnoses including nephrology population, newly diagnosed diabetes, ESRD, stable trauma, and Med/Tele cases
• Unit consists of 26 rooms and 28 beds with a daily census of 25
• Strong Med/Tele and Neuro skills required
• Strong experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams required
• Large facility experience required
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in unit required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 5 required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and more
• May be required to float to other units and/or campuses based on census needs, limited to units where competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
