Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You will work as an RN on a 26-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit at Parkridge Medical Center. This is a day shift position running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week. Your assignment runs for 91 days, beginning August 31, 2026.

On this unit, you will care for patients recovering from orthopedic and spine procedures. Your patient ratio will be 6:1, and you will have support from unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators. You will work with equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs. Documentation takes place in the Meditech electronic system.

Your clinical responsibilities will include:

• Providing post-operative care for knee and hip replacement patients
• Supporting patients undergoing multi-level spine surgeries
• Monitoring patient progress and managing pain protocols
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team on patient outcomes

You will be scheduled for four weekend shifts per rotation, and floating may occur on a rotation basis. Navy scrubs are required as your dress code on this unit. Patient experience scores of 72% must be maintained as part of your performance expectations.
