Respiratory Therapist Job in Hilo, HI

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift work. This is a 15-week travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Shift & Hours

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• No guaranteed hours

Your Role

You will provide continuous airway management and respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations. Your responsibilities include managing and supporting ventilators and non-invasive ventilators, performing physician consulting, administering CPR, and delivering all aspects of respiratory care.

Equipment & Systems

You will work with computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac transport ventilators.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certification
• RRT preferred
• NRP preferred
• No first assignments accepted

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,423.
