ED Registered Nurse Job in Flagstaff, Arizona

Flagstaff Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, offering consistent scheduling and competitive compensation.

Assignment Details:

• 3x12-hour shifts with flexible start times between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Weekly pay: $1,924

Role Responsibilities:

You will provide emergency care to patients across all age groups—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—in a Level I Trauma Center. Your clinical skill set will include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, chest tube management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, triage, obtaining 12-lead EKGs, and management of psychiatric holds. You will maintain a 4:1 patient ratio based on acuity and document all care using the Cerner system.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license
• Minimum 3 years of emergency nursing experience
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Basic pediatric skills
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
