CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse with cardiac operating room (CVOR) experience for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a 3x12-hour day shift position, working 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

About the Role

You will circulate complex cardiac, general OR, and vascular cases in a fast-paced surgical environment. Case types include CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, valve repair/replacement, ascending and descending aortic work, and heart and lung transplants. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and have access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

Requirements

• Current South Carolina or multi-state RN license (must be in hand at contract start)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience for experienced travelers
• First-time CVOR travelers must have 5+ years of experience
• Willingness to accept on-call duties: 5–8 calls per month, including weekends and possible holiday coverage

What to Expect

The facility uses EPIC for charting. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Please note that the facility may call off the traveler up to one shift per 2-week pay period. On-call shifts are part of this assignment.
