ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekly pay: $2,227
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Willing to float to other areas as needed

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning safe patient care
• Provide shift accountability and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Arizona nursing license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• NIH certification not required but recommended
