Physical Therapist Job in Margate, FL

You will provide direct patient care as a Physical Therapist at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL. This is a day shift position running 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, five days per week for 8-hour shifts. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning September 21, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Conduct gait training and therapeutic exercises
• Deliver therapeutic activities tailored to patient needs
• Utilize equipment including walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs
• Document all patient care and progress in the Meditech system
• Manage a patient load of 8–10 patients per 8-hour shift, with assignment of 10–13 patients

What You Bring

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Quick learner ready to contribute from day one
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
