ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed ICU unit with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 12 RNs, and 1 Unit Secretary
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC and 12 RNs
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy, EVDs, ICP monitoring, Swan Pacers, and Bolts
• Work with advanced equipment including ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impellas, and balloon pumps
• ICU experience is required - candidates without ICU experience will not be considered
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred
• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
• Every other weekend required
• May be placed on call if not needed on a scheduled shift, limited to that shift only - no additional call expectations
• Float to Doctors ICU as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
