Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekday and weekend call rotation required with one weeknight on-call 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend 24-hour on-call shift per month from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Holiday call rotation as needed
• Call response time of 30 minutes required; must stay if located more than 30 minutes away while on call
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Scrubs provided for RN staff
• 3-shift/1-week unit orientation
• Circulate and scrub in a 9-suite OR with 1 procedure room and 1 hybrid room averaging 35-45 cases per day
• Handle a wide variety of surgical cases including general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics (Da Vinci and Rosa), neuro spine, vascular, trauma, and pediatric cases
• Must be comfortable working as the only RN overnight with 2 techs
• Must have experience passing arms in and out for robotic procedures
• Must have experience with all surgical specialties for evening and night shifts
• Ortho experience required
• 2-3 years of OR experience required along with 2-3 previous travel assignments
• Must be proficient with Epic EMR
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA); PALS preferred
