Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit on the 7th floor of the main hospital
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• 3 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule; Friday and Saturday for night shifts, Saturday and Sunday for day shifts
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allen Vitals machines
• EMR system is Meditech
• Grey scrubs required for RNs
• May be required to float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, or PCU
• Must have experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips
• NIH certification preferred
• Required certification: ACLS
• Fast-paced, high energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork preferred
