Med-Surg RN Job in Albany, NY

You'll work as an RN in the post-surgical setting at Albany Medical Center, caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 14, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a post-operative environment
• Manage patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines
• Collaborate closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs
• Work within the Epic electronic health record system

Shift Details:

• 3x12 night shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,365.20

Experience Requirements:

• One year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with a passing competency test score, OR
• Two years of nursing experience with no testing required
• Competency testing required within 24 hours of submission if applicable

Additional Requirements:

• Epic experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No block schedule or 48-hour requests
• Local candidates from certain ineligible counties are not accepted
