Med Surg RN Job in Nyack, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg department at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, a Trauma Level 3 acute care facility. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,462.40.

Schedule and Staffing

• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, on the night shift
• Weekend and holiday work required
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:9 with PCA Techs available on the unit to assist

Patient Care and Units

• Care for patients across three Med/Surg units: Med/Surg Vent (31 beds), Med/Surg Ortho (31 beds), and general Med/Surg (38 beds)
• Common patient diagnoses include ventilator-dependent patients, orthopedic cases, and general medical and surgical cases
• May be asked to float within Med/Surg units

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current New York nursing license
• Registered Nurse (RN) degree
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS Certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required

You will receive a 2-day unit and department-specific orientation to help you transition into your role.
