Certified Surgical Technologist in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM in the Operating Room, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties.

Schedule & Expectations

• 4x10 hour day shifts (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Holiday rotation required
• One weekend shift per 4-week schedule period
• Up to four on-call shifts per 4-week schedule period
• May float within scope to meet facility needs between units and sister facilities
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off one shift per two weeks

Case Experience

You will support high-acuity surgical cases including orthopedic procedures (total joints, spine, trauma), neurosurgery (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), robotic-assisted surgery (Da Vinci Xi), transplants and procurements, trauma and burns, and genitourinary/gynecologic cases. Level 1 trauma experience is required. Previous experience with neuro cases (spines, craniotomy), ENT flaps, and robotic procedures is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Current NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
