Certified Surgical Technologist in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for their Operating Room. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with holiday rotation and on-call requirements of up to 4 shifts per 4-week schedule period. One weekend shift per 4-week period is required. You may be asked to float within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted) and current BLS
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)

Case Experience:

You will support a broad range of surgical services including Orthopedic (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN cases. Preferred experience includes Neuro cases (spines, craniotomy), ENT flaps, and Da Vinci Xi Robotics. Required skills include competency in Burns, Craniotomy, Da Vinci Robotics, Spinal Fusion, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement, and Trauma.

Facility Details:

The facility uses EPIC for charting and provides scrubs. This is a 91-day assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,547.
