Physical Therapist Job in Bradenton, FL

You'll provide physical therapy services across HCA Florida Blake Hospital, including both the inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and acute care hospital. This is a day-shift position with no night coverage required, giving you predictable working hours.

Your Schedule

• 4x10 day shifts: Friday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 91-day contract starting September 22, 2026
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Minimum one weekend shift per month

Your Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning
• Manage 4 patients per day on the IRF unit and 8–12 patients per day in acute care
• Conduct team conferences and provide family training
• Recommend and fit adaptive devices and equipment
• Utilize therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and ADL Apartment equipment
• Document using Meditech EMR system

What We're Looking For

• Active PT license (required)
• Active BLS certification (required)
• Hospital and IRF experience highly preferred
• Stroke and neurological experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
• Flexible team player with a collaborative approach

Compensation

$1,713 per week
