Endoscopy RN Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Endoscopy department. You will work 4×9-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) on a day schedule with a call rotation. Shift start times vary between 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM depending on your assigned role—Pre-Op Endo, Circulator/Tech Endo, or Post-Op Endo.

Schedule Details

• No weekends or holidays except when on call
• Call rotation: 6–8 days per month, including 1 Friday, 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday, plus one weekday per week
• 1-hour response time required for call shifts

Your Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs through active listening, direct observation, and interdisciplinary team communication
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with the health team
• Provide direct patient care and evaluate progress throughout the episode of care
• Deliver care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations in an endoscopy setting
• Provide patient and family education to support self-care beyond hospitalization
• Promote comfort and emotional support within a healing environment
• Administer medications and apply clinical interventions as required

Requirements

• Current NYS RN Licensure
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Endoscopy environment
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay: $2,506. Assignment length: 108 days. Start date: November 18, 2026.
