Endoscopy RN Job in Ithaca, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department at Cayuga Endoscopy Center, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning November 1, 2026, with a weekly compensation of $2,753.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement included
• May serve as charge nurse and provide supervision of LPNs, Endoscopy Technicians, Hospital Aides, and Patient Access Representatives

Your Responsibilities

• Administer patient care by providing physicians with appropriate equipment and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, comprehensive, cost-effective care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and data collection
• Educate patients and families on health care aspects to promote health and well-being
• Disinfect, organize, and maintain equipment and supplies used during procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate standards, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nursing license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification must be obtained prior to completion of the introductory period
• Previous hospital aide or LPN experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to walk and stand constantly; intermittent stooping, crouching, kneeling, and reaching; capacity to push up to 75 pounds occasionally and carry 10–15 pounds
