PCU RN Job in Kingwood, TX

HCA Houston Kingwood is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 3×12 schedule, earning $1,674 per week.

Unit Overview

The 24-bed PCU specializes in medical trauma patients. Night shift staffing consists of one charge nurse, six RNs, and two patient care technicians. Your patient ratio will not exceed 5:1.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform RN assessments and reassessments
• Communicate with care team members and document in the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Provide post-heart catheterization patient care
• Manage thoracentesis and chest tube procedures
• Float to adult units as needed
• Work rotating weekends

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of IMU or PCU experience
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Meditech Expanse experience preferred
