Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 4x12 day shift schedule (48-hour weeks)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry required
• Team nursing model with a patient ratio of 1:7, with support from PCC, LPN, and other staff
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics with general med/surg diagnoses
• On-call required as needed
• Weekend shifts required as needed; weekend block schedule may be considered and must be discussed during interview
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period; must work at least 1 of 2 holidays if only 2 fall within the assignment
• May be required to float between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring
• Driver's license must be included with submission
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; RTO will not be approved after an offer has been made
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Must hold an active RN license in the state or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
• ADN accepted for this position; BSN not required
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Interpretation Services, and Transportation
