ED RN Job in Laveen, AZ

Arizona General Hospital - Laveen is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 night shifts weekly
• $2,235 per week
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday coverage as needed

Role Details

You will work in an emergency room setting with a 4:1 patient ratio. This position requires floating between multiple ER satellite locations in the area, including Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise. Schedules are made in advance so you will know your assigned location ahead of time. You will be one of only two RNs on staff at satellite locations.

Work Environment

• Charting system: Cerner EMR
• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue
• Lab draws performed by ER staff
• No IV team on site
• Vent capable environment required
• No internal floating within your assignment

Onboarding Requirements

• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (maximum of 2 attempts)
• Pass/fail Simulation Lab required on Day 1 of orientation, including Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
• BSN not required
