ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• At least 8 weekend shifts per contract and holidays as needed
• Float to other campuses required as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• General Emergency Department - Combined Adult/Pedi, Non-Trauma Emergency Department
• Must be comfortable with blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs
• Must be comfortable with continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Must be comfortable with CPAP/BiPAP management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), and care of ventilated patients
• Triage experience required
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG exam required
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
