Operating Room RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Operating Room at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi Shoreline. This is a full-time position running for 91 days, beginning September 21, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care for assigned patients throughout the surgical patient journey. You will practice independently while maintaining awareness of all relevant clinical and psychosocial aspects of each patient situation. Using the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—you will deliver individualized care that addresses the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document comprehensive patient history, current symptoms, medications, and care delivered
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations effectively

• Weekly Pay: $2,336

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact license
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
