ICU RN Job in Glendale, AZ

You'll deliver comprehensive nursing care in the intensive care unit at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. This role requires you to assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, then formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members on clinical decisions
• Provide patient and family education
• Participate in unit shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage weekend and holiday rotations with possible call and float to support units

Position details: You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts for an 89-week assignment starting September 7, 2026, at $2,495 weekly pay.

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
