Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Care for patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:4 on days, nights, and weekends
• 46-room emergency department with an average daily census of 135
• General Emergency Department setting with combined adult and pediatric patient population
• Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Every other weekend shift required
• Floating may be required, possibly to sister campus
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, isolation precautions and PPE, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
