ED RN Job in Gilbert, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Gateway Medical Center, located at 1900 N Higley Rd in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week. Your weekly pay is $2,434.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history and physical with patients and families, ensuring timely completion
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care, including discharge planning based on assessment data
• Delegate appropriately and supervise other licensed nurses and personnel
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Participate in unit shared leadership and staff education

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Clinical performance competencies appropriate to emergency department practice
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Willingness to work with standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
